Here is a great list of supplements to use during the corona virus outbreak. It is from Andy himself. Posted here with the permission of Joann Loos. Thank you Joann!

During the 2003 SARS scare, Andy (Andrew Hall Cutler) gave a list of supplements to help control viruses. These supplements should work for the corona virus as well as general colds and flus. (These are adult doses. To convert to children’s doses, divide by 140 and multiply by the child’s weight.)


· Echinacea: 200-400 mg, 5 days per month

· Astragalus: 300-500 mg, a different 5 days per month than echinacea

· Vitamin A:

o If you are a fertile woman who is not sterilized: 10,000 IU per day

o All others: 25,000-50,000 IU per day

· Vitamin C (buffered): 1 gram 4 times a day

· Zinc: 50 mg per day

If you are exposed or sick:

· Echinacea and astragalus: 200-400 mg for 5 days

· Vitamin C (buffered): 1 gram every hour or two for duration

· Vitamin A: for sterile women, and other people (do not take if pregnant)

o Day 1: 1,000,000 IU

o Day 2-7: 250,000 IU

o Day 8- onward: back to regular dose

· Zinc: 50 mg 4 times a day for 2 weeks

· Olive Leaf Extract: 500 mg 2 time per day (may interact with blood pressure medications)

· St. John’s Wort: 300 mg, 3 times a day

· Inositol: 10 grams per day for 2-3 days, then 5 grams per day thereafter

· Elderberry extract: 1-2 tablespoons liquid, 3 to 4 times a day. You can take more if you wish


o Males: 300-400 mg with meals

o Females: as much as you can stand up to above dosage without excessive libido, feeling

icky, or getting chin hairs or oily skin. 7-keto DHEA does not cause these problems

· Licorice extract: 450 mg, 3 times a day

· Lots of water
